Amazon FBA Prep Pricing
Nationwide Amazon FBA prep rates for receiving, FNSKU labeling, poly bagging, bundling, quality checks, shipment prep, and carton forwarding. Final invoice depends on actual received inventory, prep needs, materials, storage, and outbound shipping.
How we price prep work
We price clean standard prep per physical unit in one approved shipment, and photo-backed receiving per inbound box. Poly bags, bundle assembly, requested additional QC, specialty supplies, oversized handling, rush prep, returns and removals, problem-package research, storage beyond the included staging window, and replacement boxes are itemized when they occur. The exact rate depends on shipment volume, prep complexity, and any special-handling flags called out at intake.
First-Shipment Pilot: one approved first shipment of up to 100 standard units is $1.00 per unit. A $20 minimum processing charge applies. Poly bags, bundles, receiving, materials, and additional services are billed separately.
Standard FBA prep — volume tiers
| Shipment volume | Per-unit rate |
|---|---|
| 1 – 99 physical units | $1.25 |
| 100 – 499 physical units | $1.15 |
| 500 – 999 physical units | $1.10 |
| 1,000 – 4,999 physical units | $1.00 |
| 5,000+ physical units | Custom quote |
Standard prep covers seller-provided FNSKU label application, manufacturer-barcode covering when required, a visible-condition check, count reconciliation against the shipment plan, and standard outbound box organization and label application. Every physical item handled counts as a unit. Poly bags, bundle assembly, detailed inspection, sticker removal, specialty labels, special materials, and Seller Central shipment creation are not included. Tier applies to total physical units in one approved shipment. A $20 minimum processing charge applies.

Final invoice depends on actual received inventory, prep needs, materials, storage, and outbound shipping. Poly bags and bundle assembly are always billed separately from standard per-unit prep. Specialty materials — nonstandard bag sizes, branded inserts, replacement boxes — are passed through at cost plus a small handling line. Reusing a suitable inbound box carries no box-material charge.
Payment policy
Invoices must be paid in full before inventory is released, forwarded, or shipped out. Outbound is held until payment clears.
What changes the final invoice
Three things move the number between what looks like a per-unit rate and what shows up on the final invoice:
- Actual received inventory. If the shipment plan says 400 units and 397 land, you're invoiced for 397.
- Prep complexity per SKU. Standard FNSKU labeling, visible-condition checks, and count reconciliation are included in standard prep. Poly bags, bundle assembly, specialty packaging, sticker removal, and requested additional QC are separate line items whenever required.
- Materials and exceptions. Replacement cartons when an inbound is destroyed in transit, specialty bags for oversized SKUs, problem-package research when an inbound shipment lacks a matching shipment plan — each itemized on the invoice as it occurs.
Storage and oversize note
The first 14 days of staging after prep is complete are included. Storage beyond that is billed at $0.75 per cubic foot per month, prorated. For oversized, overweight, fragile, high-value, pallet, or freight inventory, we quote in advance — there's no single number that fairly covers the range. Photo-backed receiving (arrival, exterior labels, carton condition, and contents on opening) is included on every shipment. Separate product or SKU photography — styled product shots, marketing imagery, or per-SKU listing photos — is quoted separately.
First-Shipment Pilot
One approved first shipment of up to 100 standard units is $1.00 per unit, with a $20 minimum processing charge. Poly bags, bundle assembly, photo-backed receiving, materials, and additional services remain separate. The shipment is documented end-to-end so you can see exactly how we operate before committing more inventory. Regular volume tiers apply after the pilot.
