FBA Labeling Service
FNSKU labels applied accurately by hand against your shipment plan. Receive inventory in Great Falls, Montana, run barcode-conflict checks, label, prep, and prepare outbound cartons for Amazon fulfillment centers.
High Plains Prep & Pack provides an FBA labeling service for Amazon sellers who need inventory received, inspected, labeled, and prepared before it ships to a fulfillment center. We handle the unglamorous but unforgiving work of getting FNSKU labels on the right units, in the right place, with the right barcodes facing out — so the next stop is Amazon receiving, not a reimbursement claim.

What labeling actually involves
"FBA labeling" sounds like a single task. In practice it’s a chain of small decisions that each affect whether Amazon receives the unit and credits it to your account. Labeling done well usually means:
- Reading the seller’s shipment plan correctly and matching each unit to its FNSKU.
- Checking for visible retail UPC/EAN barcodes that would conflict with FNSKU scanning, and covering or relabeling per your instructions and applicable Amazon barcode requirements.
- Placing the FNSKU label where it scans cleanly — not on a seam, not over an expiration date, not where it tears in transit.
- Applying suffocation warnings, poly bags, and bundle labels in the right combinations when those are part of the prep.
- Reconciling counts against the shipment plan and flagging shortages or overages before outbound.
We do all of that against the labels and instructions you provide. We do not relabel without authorization, we do not invent FNSKUs, and we do not guess when shipment plans are ambiguous — we pause and ask.

When sellers need a professional FNSKU labeling service
Sellers usually reach for labeling help when one of four things has happened. A growing business has outgrown labeling on a kitchen counter and the per-shipment hours stopped being worth it. A wholesale order arrived in master cartons that need every unit individually labeled before Amazon will accept them. A new ASIN created a barcode conflict with the manufacturer's UPC and someone needs to cover and relabel without damaging the box art. Or a recent reimbursement claim revealed how badly small label errors compound across receive-side scans.
Hand-labeling done well is not flashy. It is the steady application of FNSKUs in scannable orientation, against your shipment plan, with the discipline to pause when something does not match. That is the service.
What to send us for a labeling job
Once intake is accepted, send the following before your shipment lands:
- FNSKU label file or printable PDFs — one label per unit, sized correctly.
- Shipment plan or Amazon shipment ID.
- SKU list with expected quantities per SKU.
- Specific instructions for SKUs with visible retail barcodes (cover, relabel, or pass through).
- Any product-specific placement requirements — front-of-pack, do-not-cover-expiration, etc.
- Inbound tracking numbers.
How FNSKU labeling fits with our other services
Labeling rarely runs alone. Most labeling jobs pair with FBA quality checks to catch damaged or short-dated units before they ship, and many add poly bagging when prep instructions require suffocation warnings. Outbound preparation is covered in FBA shipment prep, and if you have a bundle SKU that needs assembly before labeling, see bundling and kitting.
Intake required before shipping inventory. Submitting an intake request does not guarantee acceptance. We review capacity, item type, timeline, and required prep before approving shipments. Do not ship inventory until High Plains confirms acceptance and provides next-step instructions.
What we do not promise
Careful labeling is what gives a shipment its best chance at smooth Amazon receiving, but the final acceptance decision is Amazon’s. We do not guarantee Amazon acceptance, Amazon receiving speed, inbound defect outcomes, reimbursement decisions, or any specific account-health effect. The seller remains responsible for product eligibility, listing accuracy, and Amazon compliance under their seller agreement. We can only control the workmanship on our floor — and we hold ourselves to a high bar on exactly that.
